Four Gurkhas who are currently serving with the 36 Engineer Regiment and the Queen’s Gurkha Engineers in Maidstone, Kent, United Kingdom took part in a challenge so called Ex THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE GURKHA WAYS. A traditional National Three Peaks Challenge that runs in the United Kingdom was completed with carrying extra 25kg of load in a bamboo basket (so called DOKO in Nepali language). The challenge was made up a theme of DOKO Race which is one the hardest test during the selection process for the Gurkhas and run in Pokhara, Nepal and completed in 26 hours and 35 minutes. […]
